چکیده

Exponential growth in number of users with diverse data rate requirements has lead to the heterogeneity traditional cellular networks. To support massive users, nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) emerged as a promising solution achieve increased connections and higher spectral gains compared orthogonal (OMA). However, studies show that weak (WU) strong (SU) served using NOMA (referred NOMA-group) experience different throughputs. In group, an SU achieves throughput than WU. Further, group increases, due superposition signal NOMA, intra-group interference dominates, thereby reducing WUs. This article proposes novel time slotting (TS) techniques aims at user fairness amongst by increasing WUs, especially when increases group. The power allocation coefficients slot duration for proposed TS are optimized satisfy minimum each while maximizing between is measured calculating both quality service experienced user. It observed technique improves measures significantly. Furthermore, energy efficiency (EE) also calculated duration. numerical results suggest improvement EE system along enhancing users.

Secure Communications in NOMA System: Subcarrier Assignment and Power Allocation

Secure communication is a promising technology for wireless networks because it ensures secure transmission of information. In this paper, we investigate the joint subcarrier (SC) assignment and power allocation problem for nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) amplify-and-forward twoway relay wireless networks, in the presence of eavesdroppers. By exploiting cooperative jamming (CJ) to enhance ...

Backhaul-Aware Decoupled Uplink and Downlink User Association, Subcarrier Allocation, and Power Control in FiWi HetNets

Decoupling the uplink and downlink user association improves the throughput of heterogeneous networks (HetNets) and balances the traffic load of macro- and small- base stations. Recently, fiber-wireless HetNets (FiWi-HetNets) have been considered as viable solutions for access networks. To improve the accuracy of user association and resource allocation algorithms in FiWi-HetNets, the capacity ...

On the Power Allocation Limits for Downlink Multi-user NOMA with QoS

The fundamental power allocation requirements for NOMA systems with minimum quality of service (QoS) requirements are investigated. For any minimum QoS rate R0, the limits on the power allocation coefficients for each user are derived, such that any power allocation coefficient outside of these limits creates an outage with probability equal to 1. The power allocation coefficients that facilita...

Max-Min Fairness User Scheduling and Power Allocation in Full-Duplex OFDMA Systems

In a full-duplex (FD) multi-user network, the system performance is not only limited by the selfinterference but also by the co-channel interference due to the simultaneous uplink and downlink transmissions. Joint design of the uplink/downlink transmission direction of users and the power allocation is crucial for achieving high system performance in the FD multi-user network. In this paper, we...

Fairness-aware user selection and resource allocation in MISO-OFDMA

The problem of user selection and resource allocation for the downlink of wireless systems operating over a frequency-selective channel is investigated. It is assumed that the Base Station (BS) uses many antennas, whereas a single antenna is available to each user (Multiple Input Single Output—MISO case). To relieve heavy computational burden, a suboptimal, but efficient algorithm is devised th...
